Our Staff


Kelli Wyatt Smith

Kelli has been dancing since she was 2 and twirling since she was 10. She has taught for 29 years.
 Kelli started competing at age 11, was a State Champion at 13,
 a National-International Champion at 15, and
 a World Champion at 17. She has been a World Champion 5 times and has almost
700 trophies for dance,
 twirling, and beauty. Kelli and her husband Gene took 1st runner-up in The World's Dance-Off.
Before moving to south Alabama she taught for Corky Bell School of Dance and has had many
 students go on to become State and World Champions. Kelli was feature twirler for
The University of North Alabama where
 she was on full Presidential Scholarship. She later transferred to the University of Montevallo
 where she was a dance minor. While there she started the U.M. Falconettes Dance Team.
Kelli moved to south Alabama and opened up Gene-Kelli's School of Dance in 1986.
She sold here studio in 2001 and went on to become the dance instructor for
Northside Methodist Academy in Dothan, AL.
Kelli has judged competitions on the local, state, and currently judges on the World and
 International Level. She is owner/director of Encore Fine Arts Studio.

Kendra Mitchell Culverhouse

Kendra started dancing and twirling at the age of 10. During high school she played the
 trumpet, a majorette for two years, and feature twirler in the Geneva High School Marching Band.
She has won and placed in several
 regional and state competitions. Kendra trained under Kelli for 14 years and taught dance and
baton at Gene-Kelli's School of Dance for 12 years. Kendra teaches all forms of dance,
 baton, and cheernastics.
She is Kelli's assistant in every phase of the studio from teaching, recording music, producing the
program book and more.



Andrea Langford Marsh
"Music Teacher

Andrea is originally from Hickman Kentucky and holds a BS degree in Music Education from
Murray State University. During her time at Murray State,  Andrea taught private lessons and
worked as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental students.
Originally trained in piano since 1997, Andrea is also proficient in saxaphone and guitar.
She began studying these instruments in 2000 and 2001 respectively. Also in her studies at
Murray State she gained funtional knowledge of all wind, string, and percusion instruments as well
 as the voice. Andrea studied abroad and also danced for 15 years.







Kerry Commander

Kerry is a native of Geneva. As a child she took piano for several years and watched her sister Kendra
 as she competed during high school.
Kerry went into receive a degree in early child education. After college she purchased Funland
 Daycare and changed the name to the Sandbox. She ran the Sandbox for many years
before selling business to Beth Davis.
Kerry is now the teacher for the state run K-4 program located inside the Sandbox.

Shaun Lawson

Shaun started clogging at the age of 14 under the direction of Amber Morgan. He danced with the
Classic Country Cloggers performing at various venues in the local area. At the age of 19 he joined the
Kountry Folk Kloggers of Chipley, Florida under the direction of Kevin McVay and has performed at various
events for over 13 years with the Kloggers. Shaun continues to train and attend workshops and classes
through out the Southern Region.


Tabitha Precise

Starting her dancing career at the age of three with Kelli.
Tabitha then moved at the age of six to Florida where
she continued her education with Julie's School of Dance. Over the next nine years she attended
conventions and competitions such as Joe Tremaine and Dance Masters of America.
 She also participated in workshops
with studios from Birmingham and Atlanta. Tabitha student-taught with Julie for 3
years and took classes from other area studios in Florida to supplement her dance education.
 She performed in the "Nutcracker" given by the Northwest Florida Ballet. Tabitha also took
summer classes with the Dothan School of Dance with Tracy Solomon.
In 1997 she retuned to Geneva and began competing avidly in pageants and cheerleading.
 She took cheerleading, gymnastics, ballet, and Jazz at Gymnastics, Etc. in Enterprise for two years.
While attending Auburn University she began instructing ballet, jazz, acrobatics/gymnastics,
 competition as well as taking technique and performance classes with Nix Studios in Auburn and
Opelika, Al. Tabitha has studied ballet, pointe, technique classes, jazz, lyrical and modern dance,
 acrobatics, and tap.


Grandmaster Connelly

Grandmaster Conley has spent over 40 years studying Keichu-Do Cajun Karate with its founder,
 Soke Karl W. Marx, Sr. From the very beginning in 1970, when he hitchhiked 12 miles each way just to
 have the opportunity to learn Keichu-Do, to his induction into the Karl W. Marx Hall of Fame in 1994,
 to his promotion in 2009 to 8th degree black belt, he is the highest black belt in Keichu-Do next to the
 founder, GrandMaster Conley has been driven to achieve excellence as a student of Keichu-Do.
His achievements speak for themselves. He is also a 30 year retiree and spent his last 5 years at
 Fort Rucker, AL  Retired Command Sergeant Major.

Scott Benson

Scott has danced all over the World.
He has been on tour with Michael Jackson, and has been in numerous Movies,T.V.Shows,
Commercials and Dance Video's.
His most recent Movie is "ROCK OF AGES
with Tom Cruise, and Julianne Hough.
